This is a picture of me doing my very own power nap for 20 minutes before I actually wrote this article.
I have my noise-canceling earphones on and I am listening to the Endel Soundscape app.
You can choose different scenarios, like “chores,” or “homework” and many others.
In this case, I chose “Power Nap” and when I woke up, I switched to ‘Deep Work.”
I feel like it helps keep me focused on the task at hand so I don’t get distracted by the trappings of life.
Anyway, I digress, but now you know how I get down on a personal level.

Napping during the day can have some risks if not done correctly. As mentioned before, napping too late in the day can interfere with your nighttime sleep.
Additionally, napping for too long can leave you feeling groggy and disoriented.
This is because when you nap for a long time, you enter into a deeper stage of sleep from which it is harder to wake up.
There are a few times when catching Zs is not recommended.
